Kids Konnect

Kids Konnect runs two holidays a year to the Blaen Wern Farm Trust in Wales. These cater for 16 children suffering severe disabilities, terminal illnesses and from socially deprived backgrounds. Holidays are staffed totally by volunteers and allow children to participate in activities that most of us take for granted and from which they are normally excluded, due to ill health, poverty or disability. The Morgan Foundation has contributed towards the running costs of the holiday in August 2009.-

LIVE!

An inclusive Youth Centre based in Chester , providing an extensive range of activities for children and young people, specifically including those with physical and/or learning disabilities, LIVE! has been supported by The Morgan Foundation with £18,000 to run its summer programmes for two consecutive years.-

Sefton Children’s Trust

Sefton Children’s Trust aims to provide voluntary support for families experiencing difficulties, via residential experiences, Christmas activities and network with other agencies/charities. By building relationships, we encourage positive choices that develop responsibility and awaken dormant potential, while creating happy childhood memories to sustain during difficult times. Funding has been provided towards the residential holiday for 72 children in July 2010.-

WISH (Widnes and St Helen's Diabetic Children's Group)

As a voluntary but highly specialised group, existing specifically for the education and support of children with Type 1 Diabetes and their families, WISH operates a range of projects to achieve this. The Morgan Foundation has committed £21,500 to fund their annual trip to an Outdoor Pursuits Centre, where children are taught to understand and manage their condition independently and safely.-
